Cars and Capitalists is a podcast produced by Dan Petkevich. This policy covers this website and the software we use to publish podcast clips to our own accounts on YouTube and X.

This website

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and does not collect personal information. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations.

Our publishing tools

We use software that connects to our own YouTube channel and X account through their official APIs (Google's YouTube Data API and the X API) to upload short video clips from our episodes. That software runs on our own equipment and acts only on our own accounts. It does not access, collect, or store data belonging to viewers, subscribers, or any other users.

Google account access is limited to uploading videos to our channel and reading our channel's basic details. Access tokens are stored locally on our own computers and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Guests

Guests appear on the show with their consent. Episode and clip descriptions may name a guest and their company and link to their public profiles. A guest who wants something changed or removed can contact us.

Third parties

Episodes and clips are hosted on YouTube and X, which have their own privacy policies that apply when you watch there.
